Why Transpose?

How to Transpose
If the two keys are within the area shown by red and blue roman numerals it is super easy to transpose

Spin Number “I” to the key it is in, and see which roman numeral is at the key you want it in.

For Example, when transposing from the key of C to G the relationship is I and V” .
Then spin the numeral
I”  around to whatever the next chord is and look at the chord number V” .
Carry on in this manner until all chords are transposed.

Try it out yourself on this Interactive KEY-CYCLE

See the Three Primary Chords in Red used in the key of “C” and the common minor chords in Blue.  See the seven degrees of the “C” Scale.

Now hold the mouse over the Key-Cycle and it turns the inner spinning disc to “A” and now you can see all those relevant chords, and notes of the scale in “A”.
