It´s a great tool used to assist the students in their learning of key signatures and music theory.  The key-cycle-disc provides students with the opportunity to have a hands on experience, which is good for visual and kinaesthetic learners.  The key-cycle as a part of music theory is fundamental knowledge that we would like all students to be able to retain in their heads, and key-cycle-disc is one method of learning that information.
